Recipe for Disaster graphite 10" X 32"
Recipe for Disaster is a drawing of the video timeline for Pell Mell as it appears in imovie. In the drawing I have transcribed the 527 images of screens as accurately as I could at the scale in which they appeared on my computer screen during the editing process. The "disaster" that the title references is twofold: the drawing itself-- the futility of the transcription process, the elevation of interface to artifact; and the video Pell Mell-- a train wreck of a video by conventional video standards.
